In El Salvador, 8 out of 10 families live in inadequate conditions, that is a total of 1,388,500 families do not have a decent place to call home (INCAE, Habitat for Humanity, 2016). Since 2010 Habitat El Salvador, together with international partners, we have worked for the development of communities in Ahuachapán.

With the "Building Hope in Ahuachapán" project, we seek to promote sustainable development in 12 communities through the implementation of a holistic project that seeks access to adequate and decent housing, but also health services, education, income generation and leadership skills.
