Facilitating Legal Security for Low Income Families

The objective of this project is to benefit 500 families in five departments of the country, trough the social and legal diagnosis of land tenure. This project is developed thanks to the financial support of the Terwilliger center for Innovation in Shelter of Habitat for humanity International, and the technical support of the Property Institute of El Salvador.

63 trained families

Families trained in secure tenure, obtaining social and legal diagnoses of their land.

226 properties legalized

Families in legalization processes of their properties, and awaiting the deeds of their lots.

Trainings

Training of employees of Habitat El Salvador in the SIGIT platform: Territorial Information Management System.

Donation

Donation to the Property Legalization Institute of technological equipment, valued at $ 9,021.00 to support operational work and field diagnostics.
