Building Healthier Homes in Rancho Viejo Island, Usulután 

July 24, 2023. Habitat El Salvador, in collaboration with Habitat East Bay/Silicon Valley, Habitat South Central New Jersey, Habitat Milwaukee and the Mayor's Office of San Dionisio, delivered fertilizer baths to 50 families on Rancho Viejo Island, Usulután. 

"The impact of this project goes beyond the infrastructure built; It represents a testament to the transformative power of collaboration and solidarity. We are grateful to everyone who has made this work possible, and we will continue to work together to build homes and hope in more communities," said Omar Rodriguez, Manager of Habitat El Salvador agency Usulután. 

Hogares más saludables

The construction of compost toilets is key to preventing diseases transmitted by the lack of adequate sanitation, ensuring a healthier and safer environment for the beneficiary families. This project is part of the interventions in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene that Habitat El Salvador carries out through alliances with national and international partners.
